Both are very nice shots. I especially like the landscape shot. The sky is great. It really gives you a feel for the expansiveness.

sharpness and metering are good john, but no2 a bit of different composion would help , i.e. the shed behind the horse is distracting ,some times take another look before you press the button

Both sharp and good colours.
