I like it, the rolling dark clouds and rays of sunshine are visually pleasing

I was just imagining how to expand my photographic experience. Somehow; I imagined taking shots like the one you just posted.

Well done!

The center clouds seem a little unnatural. Is that a result of PP or were they actually like that. Otherwise, the general impact of this shot is impressive!

I like it. One sujestion is to AEB and then merge. I would like to see the clouds darker yet retain the lightness of the forground.

THAT is a STUNNING photograph, with a very dramatic sky and great Tyndall effect from the sunset. Well done. You could do more with the sky particularly, if you wanted even more dramatic effect, but it would look un-natural. The photo is great as-is though.

Hope you dont mind but here is a quick edit to bring out the power of the sky. Again it is all personal taste.

I never thought of doing that. The only adjustments I have made were to try and and get the foreground lighter with out losing the darkness of the clouds.
When comparing this photo with the original raw, there is just a slight difference in brightness.

So, if I set the camera to AEB, I can merge the photos in photoshop to get my lighting balance better? I will have to try that.

Thank you for the help.

weka2000, I don't mind at all. In fact you acheived what I tried to do in photoshop elements, but couldn't.

Greetings, I really like your photo; very good subject and composition. Personally I wanted to see more detail in the foreground so I did some photoshop editing also. Not to say it's better only another interpretation. KC

I like the last edit.. the sky is still incredibly impressive but we also have more foreground.. wonderful original shot. I'd be thrilled with that one if I were you....
