I have been looking at this add-on View Finder, called a "ZigView R".
It has some interesting features, like a motion detector that releases the shutter using a nine grid system, and a zoom feature for focusing. I would like to know if anyone has tried it, and what they think about it. It comes ready to attach to Canon, Nikon and a handfull of other SLR cameras. At just under $300, it's a bit expensive to buy without hearing what users have to say about it. I think it is made in Korea or the UK, and is mostly marketed in the UK. Please share any information you might have on this device, or what your thoughts are relating to it.

 Regards,
Mike Wendell

Mike,

I had a 2 minute glance at it in a camera shop I went to that happened to have it on display. With a 20D (might also have been a 350D, can't remember exactly) and the EF-S 18-55 kit lens, it was nearly impossible to see anything in the LCD display (evening hours, but inside fully lit camera shop) ... image was very dark and had considerable time lag. My initial impression ... not very helpful.

Best regards,
Andy

some cameras, some lenses,
and still a lot of things to learn...
(so post processing examples on my images are welcome :D)
