Canon places in Canada (west/east)

Planning a trip to Toronto in June, a friend wants an Ixus. Not sure what the prices are like in Canuckland but figured I should maybe have a look anyway.

Well in Toronto, you got Henry's, www.henrys.com, they are one of the biggest. Vistek, vistek.ca, check out those 2 main stores. There are other smaller camera stores scattered in Toronto so unless you know your way around it might be hard to find them.

thanks for the reply - i knew about henry's but i always found them to be a little expensive. i know toronto a little well - so any names would be appreciated

I found that their price and service are better than henry's, but that is only my opinion.

www.thecamerastore.com, located in Calgary. Unfortunately they don't list much on their website though they can order anything. Probably the best prices in Canada for except for some items such as flash cards, plus no PST. Don't forget that the big chains such as Vistek price match, they have for me.

If you're coming from the states to Canada looking for a deal? Pfft dont bother bringing your wallet because the prices are either the same or more then the US. B&H is the cheapest place I have found on Earth. At least with a good rep. No one in Canada seems to come close in price to B&H. If coming from another country other then the USA then you can probably find a deal since I hear things are a bazillion times more expensive outside Canada/USA.
