I have been wrestling with no luck trying to get Nik Sharpener pro to do a batch of images. Any suggestions?

For $330, I'd think that their support team should be able to help you with this.

I looked through the .pdf documentation, and it looks as though you can save sharpening profiles. Maybe try to save a profile and record an action using a profile. see if it automatically runs with out any user intervention. Then you can simply use File > Automate > Batch... to run on a set of files. There also may be a settings dialog that will define how the plug in works automatically. I'm thinking something like the profile policies setting in Noise Ninja. It's not the exact same thing, but you catch my drift? Anyway, if you can't get it sorted out or there isn't a way to do it (I'm positive there is a way) I can show you how to automate the TLR sharpening scripts so they'll work in a batch with no user input. We'll see how this pans out - I can't believe you're the only one that wants this goal.

The user presets (as I understand it) are for setting up additional printers ect. My needs are really simple (for the current project). I just want to use display sharpening for some ebay photos. I know I will use this in the future as part of my raw workflow but this would be a simple start. Can anyone give me a step by step. Right now I have tried creating an action by already having a photo open and then start recording. First selct Display sharpen. Second set intensity. Third, click ok. Forth Click fill, Fifth, click apply, then end the recording. so what am I doing wrong?

What happens when you play the action on an opened file? If that works, then you should be able to run it as a batch.

Does not work on an opened image.
