I have 8 rosebuds on just one of my rosebushes so far. I added four more bushes to accent the two I already had, so I'm looking forward to a bumper crop of blooms.

Beautiful picture, Zacker. Came home from Lowe's last weekend with 10 new rose bushes (they were 50% off). I'm looking forward to trying my hand at photographing them. Even if the pictures don't work out, at least I can enjoy the blooms!

I FOR GOT TO TELL YOU, WHEN YOU PLANT THE ROSES, ALSO BURY A BANANA IN THERE AS WELL... (pOTASSIUM I GUESS!) LEAVE THE SKIN ON IT AND EVERYTHING...

Zacker, nice bloom ... I think I can even smell it, but (the big but), I'd burn in the edges, my eye keeps moving from the rose to the edges.
My roses (about 60+) bloom most of the year (rubbing it in) ... but then in winter I gotta mow the yard ... When I plant, I toss in the bucket of compost ... never had to feed 'em again. I recommend a compost bin in the yard for all your green wastes. Bananas are good .... I throw the peels under the bushes.

Some of my roses can be seen here:

Never heard about bananas! Unfortunately I planted them all this week w/o bananas but with rose fertilizer and compost. Hoping they'll do okay. Maybe I'll try Seefutlung's peels under the bushes. As long as they don't attract bugs it's worth a try. My biggest problem has always been blackspot and occassionally losing some over a bad winter.
