Unfortunately I planted them all this week w/o bananas but with rose fertilizer and compost. Hoping they'll do okay. Maybe I'll try Seefutlung's peels under the bushes. As long as they don't attract bugs it's worth a try. My biggest problem has always been blackspot and occassionally losing some over a bad winter.
