I met Dave the owner builder of this one of a kind car today at a local car show. This car started life as a 1986 Dodge Daytona Turbo, and has come a long ways since then due to Dave's obvious ability as a master Craftsman and fabricator. The entire project was done in Dave's garage at his house.
Not only does the hood/front clip tilt forward for access, but the entire body tilts off the frame in the opposite direction. I bet you've never seen one like this before. ;)

Dave explained that the engine is a true "Six Pack" 440 CI engine from a Super Bee. Check out those custom fender/fender liners.

thats certainly different Bruce

sorry for saying but .....is there any possibility it could fold up on the highway if something, which was not supposed to, became unstuck
wondering what extra safety catches are needed and are the insurance costs higher

Thanks Frank, I would have to say it's a "Driven" show car. It IS licensed for the street.
Marie, I'm sure Dave has the body locked down quite securely. His attention to detail here was very meticulous. ;)
