Just wondering how you can work out how many actuations a body has done, on the "for sale" section people list the actuations. Just interested to see how many I have done on my 350D

Thanks for your replys. For the moment mine works with that method as of course I have never reset it. But 'm sure if it has some sort of service mode it should show the trigger numbers. Because if you put another Canon CF card in that has a higher number than yours, your camera will continue to count from that number. some cameras, some lenses,

Best regards, Andy This happens only if you do take a pic before formatting the card in camera. In the beginning I had my CFs "dedicated" for a specific body, then things got messed up, but having the habit of insert the CF and formatting immediately I never had the issue.
