Ok... I was about to buy the Tokina 12-24 but then I read how bad the CA for this lens is. I dont know how to fix CA in PS very well so can someone give me advice on what to do. Different lens mabye or just buy the Tokina and learn how to fix CA?

Sigma 10-20. CA, flare, distortion, all controlled well. But its not constant aperture + its not 24mm on long end.
If you can afford Canon then its the best.

I don't think you have to worry all too much about CA with the Tokina 12-24. I had this lens and found it to be very competent and well built. Very nice overall for the price. I gave mine up because it was too wide for my 1D MkI (vignetting issues). I think that most people would be happy with this lens. I've heard good things about the Sigma 10-22 also, but I've never used it before so I can't give any comments on this lens. Going with the Canon 17-40 f/4L or 16-35 f/2.8L would be the ultimate, but they're more like "normal" lenses when attached to a 1.6xcrop camera body.

I have had 2 copies of the Tokina (I stupidly traded it and then ended up getting another one) and I never had any serious CA issues...in fact, the lens is noted for being well controlled in this regard. Here is a shot with it:

I adjusted the perspective a bit and also color on this for a slight "Velvia" effect and then sharpened, no adjustment for Chromatic Aberration. Looks good to me!

The build and "feel" of this lens can't be beat. I tried the Sigma and the Canon right before I bought my second Tokina, but the build quality on the Tokina takes the cake.

I'd suggest go for the sigma 10-20 - it's by far the best value of all the ultra wides. the tokina or sigma 12-24 lenses just aren't that wide on a 1.6 crop body
All these UWA's need to be used carefully to help control flare and use distortion creatively. I get the impression price is the main division between one brand and the next, rather than quality.

It's not that bad as what you have heard. This guy ranks it the best among 3rd party UWA lens. See his review here.

I don't think you could go wrong with either the Sigma or the Tonkia

I like this review site, I usually just skip to his comments and summary :D
