OK, I'm not sure it goes here....I know if I were playing it then it WOULD NOT GO UNDER PERFORMING ARTS! Maybe under transportation as I've been told I sound like someone pushing a 72 buick with 4 flats down the road.

Anyway....I tried to do a self portrait as I have an idea for a promo shot to use for a friend. It is just to hard to do by yourself.

So I captured a nice shot of my guitar and my gator boots, yes it is an 1/8th note on the boots.

This filter made it seem a little bright??? I kinda dig it though.

The setup and background are first rate, for sure. And I know you said you like the brightness, but sorry I'm not thrilled with it. It is just a bit washed out.

Great idea, that's for sure.

You are probably right...I'll try another filter....or heck just post it the way it was shot.

I like the second ... I can see detail in boots and guitar. While I like the warmth in the dirt of the first, it causes the blue sky, which I also like, to wash out. I'd go with the second for sure.

At first, I didn't realize how you could have edited it in that manner. Then I reread it and saw that you retook it, right? Sometimes I can be one plate short of a full picnic basket.

Second one is better. Great setup.

I took several shots but no, unless I goofed when I selected the shot in Photoshop. These are the same picutes just using different "filters" in photoshop. The second has no filter just minor tweaking in levels and curves.
