Congrats! :) Just be careful not to catch the L virus... after I got the 70-200L, the kit lens felt like junk and I started planning for it's replacement pretty quick.

The biggest difference is really the build quality. But also when it comes to colors and IQ there's something special about them. Ops, sorry for going OT in this thread. Carry on.

My partner and best friend for the past 7 years.

At 45+ still my favourite model.

I think she's a very sexy woman.

My wife & her mom at dinner on our cruise

Beautiful women that also look like a lot of fun:)

...But still the clever north wind was not satisfied. It spoke to her of towns yet to be visited, friends yet to be discovered...

Whoa! This thread has been going on for a l-o-n-g time...

Here's the post I did earlier, like back in 2006: https://photography-on-the.net …ad.php?p=1939588#poststop

Here's one I snapped this evening:

IMAGE: http://geneman88.zenfolio.com/img/v3/p703986143-5.jpg

Shot with 1D/EF 50f/1.4 combo, Av=f/1.8, Tv=1/80, ISO=400, no flash. I was playing with my camera, she looked up and decided to smile for me. Thanks for looking!!!
