Well it is time for me to join in and introduce my Bride of 27 years this coming March. This was a single light portrait that I used to do some touch-up work on, including skin smoothing. How did I do for my first time?

Dan,
Your wife is beautiful and you did a great job of post processing...very natural looking, and good lighting. The only complaint that I have is something a pro taught me many years ago...never shoot a woman when she is pulling her chin down, or never shoot them from a low angle. As you can see here, it forces them to scruntch up their neck which causes the skin on their neck to buckle into folds. I think it's more flattering to shoot from a slightly higher position so that they can jut their chin out a bit to stretch their neck smooth and eliminate that sort of double chin effect. Just my own two cents worth, but otherwise a GREAT capture of a beautiful woman.
