Took a few shots of my wife at the gym the other day. The light at the gym is pretty bad and there is a low ceiling and I only had one Speedlite on camera.

Welcome to the lifestyle.... of photography. As I become a portrait photographer I look at people (women mostly) at how I could shoot them.

Excelent. I agree. My wife is my favorite model so far too. Partly because she is stunning and partly because I can experiment with her and the worst I get is her rolling her eyes.

I totally agree! And the coolest thing is that we have two exceptions: no limitation of spending on photo gear and shoes

My wife already agreed for me to get the 5DIII. But I am happy with what I have so far. Love her. I feel like the best salesman. Just tell her that the gear will make the biggest difference. ; )

I might dodge her eyes just a little.

This is a cool shot. She has just a hint of attitude.

I actually did the opposite with the eyes. I thought the face needed a bit more contrast, yet still maintain a low contrast on the larger expanses. Maybe lighten the pupils a tiny bit.

Shot in the hotel room with room lighting and a bounced, on camera flash. Of course, processing to get an overall look.

Thanks.
