I think the closest you can come to it is using the adjustment brush to selectively sharpen the eyes, ring, camera, etc. You should be able to do quit a bit with LR, but there are some things that Photoshop is aces at, using layer masks and creating actions to be able to apply to multiple images is but a couple.
