Viewing on line is going to be different for everybody because of monitor calibration. What I notice with underexposed images or those that are PP'd to a brightness level is that there is a gray look to skin when the exposure is under. This is where having some RGB number criteria helps.

Thanks for the input everyone. I'll lose the crop. Just trying something different; but it appears to be a fail.

I've turned down my monitor quite a bit: but I'll admit, a lot still comes out a little dark. I have to consciously raise the exposure to a point where it looks a little bright to me. Of course maybe its just my judgement is off.

I procrastinate. I calibrated a couple of weeks ago after a few months, I'm amazed at how far of it was. It always cools and dims.

Lol I'm out of my league it seems. :-)
I was watching this at work (Non calibrated TFT screen) which does give a brighter image.
