I used to practically live here, but in the landscape section. Since then, I've been doing some event photography, then some head shots for a little theater group, and next thing you know, my front room is now a portrait studio, and I'm now working on getting some lighting gear. For this shot, I had a 580EX, shooting into a silver umbrella on camera left, just a little in front, and I'm holding a 42" diffuser, barely out of the frame, with a big fill card, propped up on my office chair, camera right. She was just talking to her mom while I played around with my lights, and I really liked the lighting on this one. Of course, I also see that I need to get something black to cover the aluminum legs on the tripod. Once I get Photoshop installed on my new studio PC, I'll have to fix the reflections in those glasses. Please let me know what you think. Thanks!  Upside the head...A place where nothing good ever happens.
