Incredible images. Excellent combination of clarity and softness. You truly captured her femininity and beauty. The lighting and DOF on number two is perfect.

Thanks for the kind words. :)

@Steven - I'm not sure if cloning out that truck is worth the pain in ass PS work required for it to visually make sense (fabricating a driveway and the lawn behind the truck). Hopefully people will pay enough attention to her and ignore the truck and the less than perfect composition. ;D

@Lunatique: Nice, mate! really enjoying your pics.

Had me some fun with the new 85mm f/1.8. No slacker, but I really want to try 85 f/1.2.

Nice one Arutemu. The skin / eye looks a bit overcooked, but I like the lighting, and the new hairstyle :)

Took a tour of one of the tower at Ely Cathedral. Couldn't resist taking this picture :). We're a good 150 feet above the ground.

:). You betcha. Actually it's a 30 shot pano but I hesitate to call it a brenizer since I'm doing it to get larger frame instead of the shallow depth of field.

Yes, a little bit. She just made the costume a few months ago and she'll put it on and do the makeup just about whenever I want, so I have a pretty good variety of shots. I got some with a smoke machine and green gels, but I haven't edited them yet. I want to do 'em up right but my Photoshop skills might not be up to the task.

We shot some that were lit primarily by the candles, too... and a little video clip that I want to turn into a cinemagraph, if I can pull it off.

[edit]

Here's my first-ever attempt at a cinemagraph. Came out OK. Learned some things doing it.

Nice. Very good use of animated gif/photo.
