Arutemu Goldmember More info | Thanks! I absolutely love the lens. With the 'soft focus' set to 0, it is a normal 135mm lens with a 2.8 diaphragm. Sharp wide open, and compared to the 135mm f/2.0, it was dirt cheap. Got it on ebay for $160. A lot of people get put off by the 'soft focus' without ever realizing that it is an optional feature that doesn't have to be used. Without it, it is a just a great 135mm lens.

Looks like I'll have to "manually" check it periodically from now on. mystik610 wrote in post #17445726 ![]() hyogen wrote in post #17403840 Very nice DIY light! I would like to make a DIY Kino-flow-like light someday.. ![]() Nice mood. Kind of cinematic. johnandbentley wrote in post #17403851 My wife is the same way, hardly ever lets me take snaps of her, and she is my favorite subject! ![]() You can try to shoot candid, and then show her the best shots and prove to her that you have the skill/artistic sensibility to capture her in her most beautiful moments. Once she's seen enough of the gorgeous results, she'll relax and allow you to shoot her whenever, basically granting you full press credentials to get all paparazzi on her whenever and wherever. I can't help but hear Borat in my head saying "Maaah wahhheef." JoeyBaccala wrote in post #17416035 ![]() Very nice shot. So even after she sees shots like this she still doesn't want to be photographed? RedCatPhoto wrote in post #17422117 https://flic.kr/p/qPnrEj This is indoor studio shot, right? The snow on the ground is a prop? RedCatPhoto wrote in post #17430414 https://flic.kr/p/qTqPgM Nice composition and balance of exposure of subject and background. Maybe the candles can be slightly brighter for even more natural looking balance? Nice usage of window lighting. Image hosted by forum (714810) © Lunatique [SHARE LINK] THIS IS A LOW QUALITY PREVIEW. Lunatique Senior Member More info | Hey Joey, how come many of your posts linking to Flickr shows up as "This photo is no longer available"? Is it a glitch with how Flickr photos are embedded inside of forum posts? My website (art, music, photography, writing): http://www.ethereality.info/

very pretty wife! that second shot is excellent! Thanks for advice on mine. she is funny, and will send me emails with risque/naughty selfies when i am traveling, but if I try to get her there with my camera, denied. I think she is afraid of the sharpness from DSLR=). 6D, Sigma 24mm f1.4 art, sigma 85 f1.4 art
