I am still trying to decide which is my best wife... :-P

My first real camera was a Canon F1. That was a long time ago.

Everyone is anti white vignette nowadays. It is the cheesy 1980's look that you used to get at the mall...

Lovely lady!
I like your wife's pose better in the left image, but the background is better in the right. I guess there's no pleasing me!:)

Thank you, Jon ! Appreciate the kind words. I agree with you about the left pose being better, but the background in the right is better.

It was such an impromptu shoot; we were just waiting outside a hospital where our teenage son was interviewing for a volunteer position for the summer. As always, I had my camera with me, and asked her to start posing.

lets see if i can help
- she is beautiful
- her face is very symmetric
- the hair highlight is perfect
- her makeup is perfect
- the soft lighting on her face is good
- her pose is feminine yet strong and natural
- the chosen background is not distracting
- her outfit looks great on her
- her expression is nearly perfect

besides all of the above
- the 85L was used at F2 which is perfect
- the outdoor light allowed ISO 100

when you get that much right in camera, PP becomes a little easier

Hockey and wedding photographer. Favourite camera / lens combos: a 1DX II with a Tamron 45 1.8 VC, an A7Rii with a Canon 24-70F2.8L II, and a 5DSR with a Tamron 85 1.8 VC. Every lens I own I strongly recommend [Canon (35Lii, 100L Macro, 24-70F2.8ii, 70-200F2.8ii, 100-400Lii), Tamron (45 1.8, 85 1.8), Sigma 24-105]. If there are better lenses out there let me know because I haven't found them.

Not my images, but just a quick guess:

For the faded look in the second, a quick & easy way is:
- Linear Level adjustment
- Push the blacks due north a touch and remove them from the image
- Push the mid-range a little, plus the highlights
- Then increase contrast a bit

The third image could be accomplished with highlight and shadow toning to add blues & greens. That'd be tough to figure out without a guide. Although, I think NIK Analog Effex has some great presets along these lines for a vintage look with saturation. I vote for NIK if you want a quick and easy method.

Cheers
