Colour for me as well but it think the B&W would work better with a more contrast, specifically to separate her from the background. Still well done on both though.

I've asked in a few other places, and overwhelmingly the choice was for the color version. I personally like the color version (the blue and green complements her skin tone nicely) but Elena prefers the B/W. Anyway, thanks for chiming in and offering your opinions. :)

Have you ever considered starting your own thread featuring this beautiful lady?

Try here if you are OK with more intimate type shots:

I thought about it before, because I was worried I might be hogging this thread too much sometimes. I asked a couple of other members privately if it''s a good idea to just start a dedicated thread, and one of them said it might seem like I'm trying to get more attention, since I already have a thread in the G&N subforum (although it's only for photos that are a bit too intimate for the People forum) .

Since you asked, I'd like to know if fellow photogs in this thread think it's a good idea that I just start a dedicated thread for Elena (AKA Kitty Cat)?

As far as I know, nobody has complained. But you realize that she's buried in a thread with 542 pages? ; )

I follow this thread and I don't think you spam it at all. Your own thread would be fine (I keep up with your G&N thread as well), but I think this thread would be missing out if you did that.
Anyways...I always enjoy your posts of Elena "Kitty Cat" (you capture her beautifully). :-)

I was under the impression that if anyone interested in seeing more photos I've posted, they'd just click on my gallery. But I guess that's a bit cumbersome since every click on a photo would then load up an entire separate page of a bunch of other photos, which isn't ideal for those using mobile data instead of WiFi.

It wasn't like that. The person is a fan who likes my work. I asked for that person's opinion and got an honest response. Other people in this thread might not agree with that opinion, but I believe it was a genuine response that meant well. :)

If I did start a dedicated thread, those who are interested can follow it, and those who are tired of seeing Kitty Cat can just ignore it. :D

Lunatique, I enjoy your photos & both your talent as a photographer and Elena's talents as a model. That's what this site is all about, the enjoyment of photography, please continue adding to whatever threads you wish posting to.
