Sometimes it's hard to choose between color or B/W. What do you prefer in this case?

Ooh, I see what you mean. I'm going to choose B&W by a slight margin.

Colour. Because the blues contrast nicely with the greens of the background, making her stand out. In the B&W image, she gets a bit lost in the background.

Still waiting for the wisdom they promised would be worth getting old for.

Colour for me as well but it think the B&W would work better with a more contrast, specifically to separate her from the background. Still well done on both though.

I've asked in a few other places, and overwhelmingly the choice was for the color version. I personally like the color version (the blue and green complements her skin tone nicely) but Elena prefers the B/W. Anyway, thanks for chiming in and offering your opinions. :)

I thought about it before, because I was worried I might be hogging this thread too much sometimes. I asked a couple of other members privately if it''s a good idea to just start a dedicated thread, and one of them said it might seem like I'm trying to get more attention, since I already have a thread in the G&N subforum (although it's only for photos that are a bit too intimate for the People forum) .

Since you asked, I'd like to know if fellow photogs in this thread think it's a good idea that I just start a dedicated thread for Elena (AKA Kitty Cat)?
