dtufino... when asking for comments and critique, do you mind if others make corrections to your images and post? If not, you might want to turn on the "IMAGE EDITING OK" option on your profile.

damppaper Junior Member 28 posts Joined May 2006 Location: Kilkeel, N. Ireland More info | Here's one thing i noticed when i got my RebelXT. I was shooting in AdobeRGB (the files are named "_MG_1234") and they look good in Photoshop, but not in any other program (for example after you finish editing and save them).
This is an AdobeRGB image converted to sRGB in Photoshop (Edit>Convert to profile>sRGB IEC61966-2.1) or shoot it in sRGB to start with:
Notice the maroon fairing of the bike and the green jacket are all nice and bright. You can notice it here: cut and paste these two links into another browser window and then use forward and back to compare them. Notice a big difference? http://rgbrowne.angeltowns.com/canonforums/_MG_5523.jpg http://rgbrowne.angeltowns.com/canonforums/IMG_5523.jpg Good luck, let me know how you get on with this, it bugged me for ages when i first got the XT!!! ![]() ![]() :oP.S. Check your "Parameters" setting to make sure the setting you have has saturation middle or right! EOS350D(Digital Rabble XT)

The forums are here for people to ask questions of each other and to learn. I find that having the IMAGE EDITING OK turned allows some of the other more experienced folks to make some edits which I can generally learn from. Kerry Sanders | flickr

You might want to increase the shutter speed on some shots to get rid of any motion blur on the rider. Of course, ignore that if you're panning with ther rider :P Canon 40D :: 50mm f1.8 mk II :: 17-40mm f4 L :: EX 430 :: Canon EOS 50 :: Canon AE-1 Program :: FD 50mm f1.8 :: FD 28mm f2.8 :: FD 135mm f3.5 :: Ilford HP5 Film :: Developing kit. No website, nothing serious, I just like taking photos
