Baby Red Birds.

This past weekend our son found a red bird nest in a shrub outside in the front flower bed. I grab the camera and went and took a few shots trying not to alarm the mother or the father.
Heres my favorite pic. Now what could I do in the future to make this shot better I want to take pics weekly as the birds are getting bigger?
I shot this in super macro mode.

Good capture, it will be great if you get more captures as they grow.

Does anyone know how old these look I was figuring maybe a week old?
Also does anyone know how old they are before they get some feathers?
