Took this today.. with my crappy 18-55 cant wait to get a nicer walk around.. but for now it will have to do.. thanks for looking.

Nice one! But wait now, this was with the kit lens? I thought from all I've heard this lens isn't supposed to be able to take even a decent picture?! :wink:

It all depends on how you use it and who's using it :) The kit lens takes great pictures if you use it right.

Nice capture with good exposure and light. Nice detail and color. My only nit is its too big. I have to scroll to see it and can't get the entire image on my monitor. The 800K rule is a good one.
