I took this shot on the way to lunch today. The cow was very curious and came right up to me. Unfortanetly so did the dairy farmer. :)

Great shot!
Did you have trouble with the farmer? Most of them are pretty easy going, as long as you don't trespass into the pasture and create a potential liability problem for him.

By the way, I'm guessing that's a heifer, not a cow, since she's only 19 months old today. Most heifers don't have their first calf until around their second birthday.

The farmer chased me away, he said it was private property even though I was physically on a public road. Maybe he thought the cokin-z filter holder on the camera was some strange device or something. :lol:

What a pretty cow! We don't have a lot of dairy cattle in our area. People tend to raise Black Angus instead.
