Ok, so these are only just starting here and I don't have many pictures yet, but I thought I'd start this thread anyway.

Here are a few I took this past week (all with the 70-200), what have you taken so far this year?

So no water lilies yet?! Hmm, guess I'm too early with these? Will try again.

Thanks all for the comments, maybe this thread will be able to live afterall!

As to the lens, I have "only" the 70-200 f/4, not either of the f/2.8's.

Thanks for adding the picture, nice! Some really funny looking water lilies there, but a great shot of daffodils!

...I just bought a new Rebel XT, and I am new to the world of photography (besides your basic digital camera for a few shots during vacations, birthday parties, etc...). This camera is amazing; I am still learning... I used the 'P' setting, with auto-focus, using a Sigma 70-300mm lens. I saw this thread, and thought this photo would fit right in...

I'm green, but I'm definitely having fun shooting pictures of a whole new caliber... Any advice is welcomed...

By the way, these are some beautiful photos! I hope to capture pictures at that level eventually... :)

All very beautiful shots. The flowers reflections in the water are very nice.
