Nice images.... they seem a little less intimidating 60-70 years after the fact don't they. Hopefully the lessons learned from all that mess will not be soon forgotten.

I personally find it hard to believe that people are willing to parade around in **** uniforms after the events that took place there. What was the actual purpose of this?

For everyones information. The "starred" word (that was done automaticaly on saving the post) is simply a reference (beginning with N and ending with I) to "German" uniforms of the period - nothing more sinister than that either implied or intended.

interesting pics, it's a good reminder of where we've come from, to brush the past under the carpet would be an insult to the people who have put down their lives for the Europe we have today :)

the guy sat down in #3 looks like he's going to trip the German officer :lol:

Nice shots, the BW almost seem orignal pics from back in that day except the fact of the new model cars in the BG lol! nice shots though.Amazing time in history.

pic 8 seems to be really catchy in my eyes.
