GMOS 2006 mostly got rained out but I did manage to get a couple of shots of the ospreys Friday afternoon.

Here's one of an osprey heading back to its nest with dinner in its talons.

(1DmkII, EF 500 f/4 @ 1/500, f/4, +1/3 EC, ISO 200, Av)

Although the next picture is not of an osprey, it is of a bird (chipping sparrow?) with dinner between its beaks. Now, that's a mouthful. :mrgreen:

Both are wonderful shots Leo. The osprey is a great catch, everything sharp and clear.

Those are both beautiful shots. I love that we get to see their dinner, and the pics are so sharp and clear, plus that osprey's winged pose is perfect. Very cool!

The first shot is incredible. The details are stunning. exposure is spot on. Wonderful work. Good shot of the little bird with a mouthful too. Composition is very good.

Very nice indeed! Great shot on the osprey, and the sparrow meal is a keeper!

Great shots Leo.

The sparrow is definitely a keeper, as Scott put it.

The Osprey is just outstanding. So sharp and clear. I can only hope for something even remotely close to this.

My life is like one big RAW file....way too much post processing needed.
