Hi there,

I have a photo I would like to post in this section. But How do I get the file down to 100KB? In CS 2 I'm saving as JPG, 450 pixels wide, and even a LOW QUALITY compression of 4 is giving me 107KB?

thanks,
Derick

Sometimes instead of 800x532 I have to go smaller, like 700x??. Just keep resizing till you get under the 100k mark. ;)

Resize the image by using save for web in CS2, only then downgrade the quality.

Sorry picture is not in more detail to make out the values.

I think you forgot to click "Attach" after browsing to your image file. Try again.

Sorry, cfcRebel, I actually removed it to add it to the main Animals thread, but then I saw there already is a tiger pic, not sure if I should post one so quick after the other one was posted?

Why not? I'm sure they are not photos of the same tiger.:)
Look at the Birds forum. Many people posted photos of ducks, and they are all beautiful.;)
