Earlier this evening I ran across this little lady hard at work. I didn't have all my gear with me so had to rely on the popup flash and manual focus in the semi-dark. Any C&C is encouraged and welcome.

Jun 06, 2006 09:42 | #3 Hi Herb! I saw your post and decided to see what you meant. What was your setup? Also, how much sharpening did you have to do on the 2nd image? It may not be an issue with your lens. I had the advantage of having the spider in a controlled environment. Because of that, I was able to get the camera very close (which made the focussing much easier).
