This little boy or girl was in back of my house in the woods. We look at one another for sometime. Finally got the canon in hand with a 300mm lenses, offhand shooting. Very, very poor lighten conditions because it was at dusk and in the woods. Capture in “raw” the frame was black until adjustments were made with PS elements 3. Very grainy.

Comments on cleaning helpful; if it can be done

Thanks
Bob

Thanks everyone for you kind comments. Being an amateur I have a great deal to learn. C&C’s are always helpful

If the lighten conditions were better, the fawn photo’s would have been fine captures. After downloading the photos for post processing in PS elements 3 the frames were completely black. I was surprised to develop anything at all.

I enjoy taken wildlife photos very much. Most of the time the conditions are not always the best, so I take what I can get.

I've been looking for one of these dudes for a couple weeks and still no luck. Your photo look good for the conditions. Go back out in the same general area and either sit and wait for mom to find him or her for you (feeding time) or go looking. Look for a twitch of an ear or the glare of the sun off it's back. Good luck!
