great pics ,looks like they may have been taken in your evil show tank ,i only own two goldfish(pinkie/perkie​) but id love to take pics like this of them, any info lense/lighting would be very welcome

Great shots. I am also curious at your lighting setup for the shots. I try to get the same effect in my reef tank but the strong 250w mh light seems to destroy any chance of that. Pictures through an aquarium aren't easy, but you did a great job.

hrmm, turn off your reef lights and use something that can still penetrate but is more subtle?

Thank you all for looking and the good comments.

Lighting: 550EX mounted above tank controlled with ST-E2 controller. You have to pick a spot in your tank where the flash evenly exposes you fish. Once you find that spot focuse there and wait for fish to get there :) patience patience patience practice :)

I'm not a "fishy" person, but that 2nd shot is absolutely stunning. Could easily see that as a cover shot for a fish magazine. Great job.
