I am new to the macro world..
To say the first time i mounted the lens to my camera it is a whole new world of learning how to focus...

here is a shot from my normal 18-50mm lens @ full zoom.

I am looking into buying some extension tubes, i have been looking around the forum and notice "most" have been buying the Kenko Tubes...

I have a Canon EOS 20D, will this set work with it?

A little more light required although with such a shiny object using a flash will bring a whole new set of problems. As to the tubes; well it says for Canon EOS Cameras so they should be fine for your 20D.

I think with these inanimate shots you could use a mirror to bounce some light-fill into it - just an idea :) ...

I'd add a lot more light and shoot a bit higher than 2.8, and drop the ISO down a bit...

As for the Kenko tubes...as long as you don't want to use them with EF-S lenses.

As I saw somewhere else...almost all extension tubes use the same ultra low dispersion air
