If you really want the disable right click code, here it is.

<script language=JavaScript>
<!--
//Disable right mouse click Script
var message="Function Disabled!";
///////////////
function clickIE4(){
if (event.button==2){
alert(message);
return false;
}
}
function clickNS4(e){
if (document.layers||document.getElementById&&!document.all){
if (e.which==2||e.which==3){
alert(message);
return false;
}
}
}
if (document.layers){
document.captureEvents(Event.MOUSEDOWN);
document.onmousedown=clickNS4;
}
else if (document.all&&!document.getElementById){
document.onmousedown=clickIE4;
}
document.oncontextmenu=new Function("alert(message);return false")
// -->
</script>

This will go in the <BODY> of your HTML document.

You can change the part in red to a custom message that appears when people try to right click. Hope this helps.

Just starting my website and needed a little help from those of you have your own site. Is there an HTML code or Java Script that can be placed in the source to prevent online theft of my images when enlarged. I've got the "disable right click" code but that doesn't prevent anyone from the "Windows" Save-Print-Email-Open dialog box that appears each time you mouse over a .jpg. Can anyone help me here.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

To disable the image menu you can use

<meta http-equiv="imagetoolbar" content="no" />

That will disable the menu on all images on that page.

This one, you can selectivly disable the menu for each image.

<img src="yourPic.jpg" galleryimg="no" />

bannedPermanent ban

I, personally, would never buy anything from a site that had right click or menus disabled. As soon as I saw that, I would close the window. I think all disabling right click does is piss of a lot of people. If you want the image, simply prntscrn.

All the right click and menu disabling does it stop the casual people from saving the images. IMO. Anyone who really wants the image will get it, even if its embedded in a flash player.

JABACo

Another tips, dont use html to resize your pics, your site is VERY slow. Use photoshop to resize and then upload the pictures.

Your right. I figured that one out about half way through. Thanks for the tip.

does a raw file = a digital negative?

like say one of your images ends up in a magazine w/o your premission, can you use the raw file as proof that you are the owner/photographer?
