Are fisheye "filters" such as these worth anything...

You pay for what you get.

This is a cheap way to get cheap fish-eye photos.

If your looking for one or two shots a year, perhaps all you need is this. If you're looking for serious use of the photos then perhaps this will work as a introduction which you can sell off later. Or perhaps you'll just go for the real McCoy and not bother with the add on lens.

Your not spending big bucks here, but you're not getting big pictures.
