Los Angeles, Van Nuys Airshow

Air show is on Sunday morning 06-11-06.
Any tip as to where would be a good location to take best images?

Probably taking them at the airport would be good :P

I've never been there so I really have no idea. I wanted to get down to one of those this year but it just hasn't worked out. And I think I'd need at least a 70-200mm lens for some shots which I don't have yet.

If you get there very early in morning, there is good chance you can park in nearby streets. For late comers in prior years, parking was at Balboa park with school bus transfer to Airport.
But I have seen many people in allies near South-western area of runpath, seating on back of their trucks taking picture from airplanes in the air instead of geting into the airport.
I am not sure which one is the better option, especially that I am planning to bring my large lenses such as 600mm 4.5
Its gonna be hot so stay cool, caps, eyeglass, cold drinks are must.
