Leopardsbane in low light

This leopadsbane pic I took yesterday night, when the sun was very low (you can see how the light comes from the back of the flowers. The actual scene was not as bluish as the picture after auto levels and auto colours, but I liked it like this.

Lens: S30/1.4.

(Btw, did you know leopardsbane is an ultraviolet flower?)

The names of the flowers are odd some times. The English name here refers to a leopard, and the Finnish name to a goat ("vuohenjuuri").

Thanks Marie. Far too rarely I use the opportunity of the very last rays of sun light (in other pictures that sun sets ).

great pic, worthy of a poster sized wall print. i love the dusky effect and the blur. interesting site about the UV flowers too. that might be fun to experiment with
