Hi
I am going to London, Paris and Portugal this Saturday. I will be visiting quite a fiar bit of churches, cathedrals, museums, place probably with high ceilings.
I am taking my 350d and my
sigma 18-200 plus my 430ex flash.
tryingnto keep my load light.
What settings should I do for the above conditions?

Thanks
Pat

It would depend entirely on the ambient light at the time of your visit, so I can't answer that question.

Having been to many churches and museums in Europe, please remember that many of them will not allow flash photography, especially if paintings and frescoes are present. Not only are flashes considered obtrusive, but they are also considered to damage paintings over time.

One interesting exception is the Vatican. They allow flash photography in St. Peter's Cathedral, due to the fact that the art work inside is all mosaics - no paintings.

Have fun!!!
