Great shots that you don't see too often! That first guy doesn't look too happy with you.

He wasn't too happy, but I wasn't the target of his displeasure. Me and a few other photographers were snapping away while he grazed contentedly in a field, when some idiot decided he could get a better look by sneaking up behind him...
THAT pissed him off and he started loping our way, snarling. That shot was from about 20-25 yards away. I would have run, but there were two park Rangers (both armed) right next to me and they were telling everyone to not make any sudden moves, to stay where we were. The bear calmed down and went back to grazing.

All these shots were from Yellowstone, by the way, in the area near Lake Yellowstone.

Kent County, New Brunswick, CANADA
has to be one of the world's best kept secret. It is bordered by the sea to the east and is made up of small villages, farms, forest, brooks and rivers. I have lived here all my life and
would recommend it to anyone.

These were taken with the Canon 100-400 f4.5-5.6L IS or else the Sigma 120-300 f2.8 with a 2x TC.

I thought maybe you used the 70-200. If so, the Grizzlies should have been scared of you - not the other way around! 400 much better choice! Great photos by the way.

The first photo was taken at 150mm, so I COULD have used the 70-200. That bear was only about 25 yards away.
