Took this yesterday of a frog sitting by our pond. Took using 20d and 28-80mm IV. Comment/critque welcomed!

Great pic.Frogs have such an unasuming look to them that it seems odd to think of them as a predator.

Thanks for the comments. Nick, I'm not 100% with the composition myself, but the frog was crouching behind a rock and leaves, and this was the best angle I could get without scaring it away. Preferably, I would have moved the leaves out of the way of the foreground, and you can see a couple of bits of grass in the very near foreground aswell. But it's the best I could get!

Bromm, I know exactly what you mean. An insect was flying around the face of another one of the frogs, and after a couple of seconds sitting motionless, quick as a flash, he snapped open his mouth and tried to grab it. He missed, but it was impressive! :)
