Hi all

It's good to be back. Here are a few shots of the Dunlin. I really enjoy shooting these small waders. Please feel free to comment. :-)

These are shot with the Bigma at 500mm, 1/800 s at f/9, ISO 400. Almost no cropping was done. I have never been able to get this close to them before.

You are spot on Dimitri. The Bigma hardly leaves the camera these days. ;-)a

Fell in love with the Bigma from day one. If you look around this forum you will find a lot of great shots taken with this lens (many much better than mine).

Thank you Rob and Leo for taking the time to comment. I really appreciate it. :-)

Best regards

Stunning captures ! Glad to have you back, I love seeing your posts. Are you using a monopod or tripod to get these ? If you say handheld I am going to sell my camera and take up stamp collecting.

Great shots. They are extremely crisp and clean. You really are getting the best of the Bigma.

Fantastic series Sindri. I am not familiar with this species...I take it the black on the bottom of the bird is from the mud it is pulling up while walking.......detail. light and colors ..super!

Great shots Sindri - nice and detailed. I don't get a chance much to see these types of shore/wading birds, so thanks for sharing!
