Excellent shots Sindri. The exposure showing good detail, colour and spot on sharpness makes these shots of a high quality.

Stunning captures ! Glad to have you back, I love seeing your posts. Are you using a monopod or tripod to get these ? If you say handheld I am going to sell my camera and take up stamp collecting.

Thank you for the kind comments Chris. I really enjoy your work so don't sell your camera. ;-)a Like many of my shots these were taken handheld. I do use both bean bag and monopod when I can or whatever is around me for support (stones, branches etc.). It's pretty easy to use the Bigma handheld when you get the hang of it since it's weight helps to keep a more steady balance. That said if I'm using a TC a monopod is a must.

Fantastic series Sindri. I am not familiar with this species...I take it the black on the bottom of the bird is from the mud it is pulling up while walking.......detail. light and colors ..super!

Thank you for the kind words Gary. The black on the bottom of the bird is actually a part of the Dunlins' plumage.

Keith, Wizard12, Maz, Stan and Anthony. Thank you for taking the time to comment. I really appreciate it. :-)

Hi Sindri,
Great colors and excellent exposure,
What was your DoF and was your focus point on his wing or eye?
Good to see your shots again,
All the Best,
Clare

I had missed these originally...love the raised foot in the first shot, and the slightly opened bill in the third.

I cannot think of anything else to add really except fantastic again ! I was accused of being a Ninja on another forum due to how close I got to the birds. I can only say that you are a better Ninja than I am.
