Some shots from Appleby horse fair UK. After the horses have worked up a swet harness racing, the young lads take them to cool off then wash them down.:-) C+C welcome

Isn't that a little too deep for the poor horse? He seems a bit uncomfortable in the second picture.

The horses are often let loose to run into the river, they dont hesitate to swim they seem to enjoy it. The horse never seemed to strugle or put it's nostrils under the water. All the horse activities are monitored and filmed by the R.S.P.C.A (Royal Society for the Provention of Cruelty to Animals).:-)
