I've been using Bible Pro for the last month, I've tried a half dozen other RAW editors too but have found Bible to offer the features and a user interface I prefer.

Just wondering before I buy if if anyone has any thoughts about Bible Pro?

I really like the buit in Noise Ninja, Clearview, and lens correction, etc.

CS2 is totally out of my budget, I'd like to stay well below $200 :D

I love bibble. I am however, frustrated recently with the issues they have with freezing. It seems like 4.6+ is when this started.

I've not experiened that issue. Maybe it has something to do with the amount of memory? I'm using 2gig on an AMD X2 @ 3ghz, it seems very fluid and fast to me since its multi-threaded.

I have a Dual Core G5 at work with 12GB ram. It might be the memory, but if so bibble has some major problems. :D

Like I say though, its completely random. 95% of the time it works blazing fast, and one day it decides to give me hell. Who knows, I'd still buy it. Same with my PC at home with 2gb ram and xp64bit.

I had a quick look at bibble and found that it wasn't giving me more than I could do with any of my other raw converters. I have RSE, RSP, breezebrowser and C1 Pro which is my favorite. I sort of progressed through the raw converters with breezebrowser being the first one I purchased when I firs started digital and then got the Phase One product. When RSE/RSP came to the market the pricing was such that it was too good of a deal to pass up but at the end of the day I still find C1 to be the better product.

I realize that CS2 is an expensive piece of software but what are you using for your final editing and resizing. At least with CS2 you get the best of both worlds in a raw converter and a editor.

My life is like one big RAW file....way too much post processing needed.

Just curious, but what do you find better about c1 pro than bibble? I keep hearing too much good stuff about c1 pro not to investigate.

I was going to buy bibble 4.7, but it does not play nice if you use alternate windows themes.....

I like the colors that it gives me. It is easy adjust the raw files to get any colors that may be off. I find the interface easy to use (but really any program takes some getting used to). In my test with bibble I just wasn't getting the same colors that I was with C1. Without a doubt C1 Pro is expensive. They are getting better with getting new camera support to the marketplace faster than most others. There are some things that I wished they would add like levelling a photo (which RSP offers) but all in all it is a very solid product.

I've spent inumerable hours doing raw conversions on the same images across all of the raw converters and I just keep coming back to C1.

I see. I wasn't challenging you in any way, I just keep debating going with c1 pro. As bibble keeps giving me irritating problems it's looking more and more likely.

I like Bibble very much, but prefer the colors I get from Silkypix. You might try their free download before you make your final choice.
