Someone said it's best to try and photograph them in the early morning as the sun in the middle of the day makes them more active. That's one of the reasons I haven't tried photographing any - I haven't been good at early mornings for a while!! Twelve significant photographs in any one year is a good crop. -Ansel Adams

These were taken late Sunday morning, we were just headed out the door to go birding and I looked in the backyard and was like WAIT!
