uploading to costco...

NOt sure which area to post this question, so I'm posting here.

I use costco to upload photos and order all the time. I tried to order some posters and they warn you when it isn't high enough resolution. All my pictures have more than enough pixels but only certain ones are reccomended for poster size (16x20 and 20x30) just wondering if anyone else had the same issue?

I have had that happen to Me before, I was printing 11x14 and got that message. It was due to two things........low light and/or cropped in too much. I have went ahead and printed it anyway and the pic' was very noisy looking. You might have to take it to Motophoto or somewhere where the image is printed by a ink/lazer jet printer.

I also printed it anyway and took my chances. The pixels were so high it shouldn't be a problem. I was cropped but only by a little.

Just make sure you specify how you want it cropped, that's all.

When you select your photos to upload to Costco, in that upload dialog box (at the bottom) are two radio buttons ...

One says "Fast Upload (up to 5x faster!)" and the other one says "Large Print Upload (for poster prints and large gifts)"

Usually, the "Fast Upload" button is selected by default ...

But make sure that you've selected the "Large Print Upload" option ....
