A shot similar to this was taken for a Camera Club entry for "Impact", the intention being pitures with impact that make you go WOW.

I interpreted is slightly differently and took a similar shot to this in B+W, processed in a 'wet' darkroom and placed third in the comp. Partially due to the alternative interpretation.

Yes, and it is a subject of much humor in my house. When Blue was a baby kitten he had the bluest (think Paul Newman) eyes! Hence the moniker. Sadly, his eyes reverted to a goldish/green color but the name stuck. We both get teased :lol:
