TPBM shows ambient and flash balanced so the flash is not obvious to the untrained eye.

OK! to honor both requests...Here is a crop of a couple of trouble makers when they get together. True to life Dennis the Menace X 2:p (Pardon the quality as it is scanned from an older print, that's my son Eric on the left about 18 years ago!)

TPBM is an artistic backlit shot

Artistic Backlit Shot:

The gulls are backlit by the sunrise ... captured an artistic vision on this one.

Now I'm suicidally curious.

LOL

Erect tripod and ensure that the head is level throughout the full arc of the rotation. Mount camera on tripod (portrait orientation) Set to manual exposure and determine a average exposure across the whole scene and dial that into the camera. Set to manual focus and take first exposure, rotate camera to ensure that there is just over 50% overlap and take second exposure, continue until the full scene is captured.

In photoshop batch convert all RAW files to PSD and save in directory.

In CS3 point photomerge at the directory containing the PSD files and start the merging process. alt tab into a web browser and catch up with POTN at this point.

Open the merged panorama and use whatever tools and skills you need to tidy up the joints. Resize, add border and save as JPG.

TPBM you had to spend at least an hour on in post-processing.
