I was looking at it in photoshop.

(I'm afraid this is going to embarass me in a minute)

I'm using the Firefox plugin to read the EXIF (AirBront can tell you the name of it... something like EXIFER I think...)
Don't worry about it... I was just curious as I don't recall reading EXIF data on anything over 1 min.

Would make an interesting pairing with my orchid from last night. The boys weren't quite so "demure" about it as these sweet young woman.

We're getting way off topic... BUT I think that every person in here would benefit from having either the 50mm 1.8 (for all of us bargain shoppers) or the 50mm 1.4 just because they are both supposed to be stellar lenses. My 50mm 1.8 works great for low-light, or with tubes, or cranked down a bit. I've found it to be a handy lens for 'every-day' situations, and for snapping quick pics for this forum.

Am I right, or does the 50mm with 68mm of tubes equal 1.36x magnification, which would qualify as true macro?

How does the 50mm compare to what AirBront posted for the 100mm?

I would expect the 100mm to be twice as powerful for magnafication but that isn't what I'm seein in examples on the web...
